Staff at The Dome have crossed the English Channel to raise money for charity...without even leaving the gym.
Rowing ChallengeThe English Row Cross Challenge took place in The Dome's Fitness Village gym as two teams raced to raise money for Breast Cancer Care by completing the gruelling 26-mile row.

The competitors, dressed in pink to symbolise charity's Wear It Pink campaign, slugged it out for four hours in teams of four on a roll-on roll-off basis.

Sue Hunsley, Fitness Village Co-ordinator who set the challenge, said: "We wanted to do something a bit different and get everyone involved to raise as much money as possible.

"Rowing the length of the English Channel was a tough challenge but the way people embraced it shows we are a caring and competitive bunch and we are delighted to have contributed to such a worthy cause."

The Fitness Village English Channel Row Cross Challenge raised £579.81 for Breast Cancer Care.
