From a Don to Adonis for Rugby League Stars

Date Posted: 5th February 2008

Doncaster's rugby league stars are in peak physical condition ahead of the new season thanks to an exciting new partnership with The Dome.

As well as the Doncaster Dons carrying The Dome's logo on their shirts, The Dome has given the players and coaching staff access to its Fitness Village Health Club to prepare for their first season under the leadership of Ellery Hanley.

The facilities at the Fitness Village means the players can use the multi-purpose gym equipment to improve and increase strength and stamina throughout the 2008 season.

The players will also have access to The Lagoons swimming pool, Spa and Treatment rooms, which will be key to recovery from high-energy match days.

Carl Hall, director of rugby at the Dons said: "We are expecting a great season and with the partnership we have with the Doncaster Dome we know we will be well prepared in terms of strength and fitness.

"With the help of The Dome, we have every confidence that we can win promotion back to National League One this year."
Michael Hart, head of business development and marketing at The Dome, added: "The Dons have access to all the great facilities we have at The Dome, which will be vital to them in their day-to-day training and recovery.

"We are delighted to support one of our town’s great sporting clubs and look forward to a long and successful partnership on and off the pitch."
