World’s best jugglers drop in at The Dome!

Circus performers from around the world are giving families in South Yorkshire the chance to catch the action and learn the tricks of the trade!

The 21st annual British Juggling Convention (BJC) will be held over five days at The Doncaster Dome on 26-30th March 2008.
The world's best jugglers will show off their skills and workshops in juggling, unicycling, trapeze, hula-hooping, poi and staff spinning are open for circus enthusiasts to try.

The British Young Juggler of the Year will be decided on Friday 28th March in a competitive extravaganza that sees the best talent from the UK go head to head for the title. A huge live show will take place the following day in front of a packed crowd at The Dome.

Liz Beyer, BJC 2008 Director, said: "The event includes competitions, open-stage performances and numerous opportunities to learn new skills, meet new people and mix with some of the most talented performers in the business.

"The BJC aims to inspire and engage people through these impressive and alternative arts and sporting activities. There is so much going on, we urge people to come down to The Dome and try something different!"

Five-day passes can be purchased before January 31st for £60 for adults and £30 for children aged 11-15. After that date five-day passes will cost £75/£40. Passes include four nights camping and one adult can accompany up to four children.
