Ice Caps Refurbishment
As part of our ongoing commitment to provide first class leisure facilities, Doncaster Dome Leisure Trust will be investing over £300,000 in a programme of refurbishment for the Ice Caps Skating Area.
When is it Happening?
The Ice Caps will close after the last session on Sunday 5th September and will re-open on Friday 1st October 2010.

Will I be able to use the Ice Rink between these dates?
No, unfortunately not. Due to the nature of the works which are taking place in the area, the Ice Caps will need to remain closed for the duration of the refurbishment. The last session will take place on Sunday 5th September and the area will re-open on Friday 1st October.
What will happen with my skating lessons?
The skating lesson blocks will be as follows:
- The current course finishes week ending 17th July.
- We intend to run a 3-week mini course from 4th October to 23rd October at a reduced price.
- Lessons will return to the normal 6 week blocks from 1st November – 11th December.
What else can I do whilst the Ice Caps is closed?
Everything! Only the Ice Caps is affected by this refurbishment. All other areas, including swimming and the main hall will remain open as normal.
Will there be any changes to the prices or session times?
We are looking to review session times and prices in order to make these better for all of our customers. Further information about any changes will be available soon.
